Glassnode: Bitcoin transaction fees account for only 0.69% of miners' income

According to CoinMeta, data shows that the transaction fees for Bitcoin currently account for only 0.69% of miners' income, which is still close to the 10-year low of 0.52% set in April this year. The proportion of transaction fees has been below 1% for nearly a year, and miners' income now relies more on the block subsidy of 3.125 BTC per block. In addition, Checkonchain data indicates that the total computing power of the Bitcoin network has decreased from a peak of 1.3 Zh /s in October 2025 to 861 Eh /s, a reduction of about 33%. As of Tuesday, the average production cost per BTC was estimated at $78,254, which is about 23% higher than the spot price at that time.
