According to CoinMeta, and as reported by foreign media, the U.S. government has sold an oil tanker associated with Venezuela, identified as bella No. 1. This oil tanker was intercepted by the U.S. Coast Guard in the Atlantic Ocean in January of this year and is now to be dismantled and scrapped. The sanctioned tanker managed to evade U.S. blockades in the Caribbean Sea at the end of last year, after which the U.S. launched a weeks-long pursuit. The tanker continuously changed its name and painted the Russian flag on its hull in an attempt to seek protection, but was ultimately intercepted near Icelandic waters.
