According to CoinMeta, the monthly active users of Gemini have officially exceeded 1 billion, making it Google's fastest-growing product to date. Google stated that Gemini has also become Google's 14th product to surpass the 1 billion user milestone. In February of this year, Gemini had just over 750 million monthly active users, which rose to 900 million in May, and then increased by about 50 million in July. Google also released data showing that 63% of users interact with Gemini directly via voice, and in every 5 interactions, Gemini is used once for camera or screen sharing. The number of active users of iOS has surpassed 100 million, and Gemini generates over 150 million images per day. Nevertheless, having 1 billion monthly active users does not equate to exceeding ChatGPT. Sensor Tower estimates that ChatGPT reached 1 billion monthly active users in May of this year, and OpenAI also mentioned that ChatGPT reached 1 billion weekly active users in July.
