GSr Market Leader: The Downturn in the Crypto Market is Due to Funds Shifting to the AI Field
2026-08-12 09:04:27
According to CoinMeta, GSr market leader Spencer Hallarn stated in the latest interview that the current crypto market is relatively sluggish. Part of the reason is that investors and funds are shifting on a large scale to the AI sector, and the AI infrastructure equity financing issued by large tech companies has further tightened overall market liquidity. Under the current market conditions, there is a significant increase in customers' demand for long-term budget planning, OTC hedging structures, and real-world assets (RWA). Hallarn pointed out that many closed-tokenization platforms with heavy KYC requirements lack meaningful trading activity. The real opportunity in tokenization does not lie in simply packaging assets into tokens, but in repairing the underlying pipelines of traditional banks and settlements. He believes that if AI related investments cool down and the Federal Reserve begins to cut interest rates, market liquidity is expected to return, which could support a rise in Bitcoin prices.
