According to CoinMeta, pork traders were paying attention to the trading on Tuesday, as pork futures performed strongly on Monday with contract prices rising by 20 cents to $1.55. The opening position volume decreased by 1,540 lots. The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) reported a national benchmark pork price of $96.68 on Monday afternoon, which was down 99 cents from the previous day. The CME pork index fell by 36 cents in August.
