According to CoinMeta, Broadridge Financial Solutions processed $8 trillion in repurchase transactions on its blockchain-based distributed ledger platform in July, with an average daily trading volume of $365 billion. According to a statement from Broadridge on August 10th, the platform's average daily activity increased by 28% compared to last year, with financial institutions continuing to use distributed ledger technology for repurchase settlement and collateral management. The platform supports real-time financing and collateral movement, allowing financial companies to manage liquidity and capital while maintaining their existing trading and post-trading systems. Broadridge noted that July was the latest month in which the platform handled billions of dollars in repurchase transactions; in January, the average daily trading volume was $365 billion, with a monthly transaction amount of $7.3 trillion, representing a year-on-year increase of 508%.
