According to CoinMeta, Coinbase is launching derivative products in the UK for qualified professional investors, covering perpetual contracts, time-bound futures, and crypto options. These services will be gradually made available over the coming weeks. This expansion is based on the MiFID license recently obtained by Coinbase, which covers more than 170 types of contracts, including crypto assets, commodities, stocks, and foreign exchange.
