According to CoinMeta, as reported by Qilu Evening News, a fraud chain involving the use of overseas social platforms for virtual currency staking mining has been exposed, with the amount involved exceeding 3 million yuan. Scammers used overseas software such as WhatsApp and Discord to induce victims to authorize fake mining contracts, thereby transferring funds from their accounts. To date, more than 30 victims have been identified, with the highest loss for an individual exceeding 300,000 yuan.
