According to CoinMeta, as reported by Digital Asset, LG CNS, a service company under the Korean LG group, plans to launch a new blockchain service for the stablecoin ecosystem in September. This service will cover digital wallets, transaction processing and management, gas fee payment on behalf of others, as well as infrastructure for on-chain data collection and reporting. LG CNS, the person in charge of the blockchain, Lee Jung - hwa, stated that with the popularity of stablecoins, wallets and channels that connect traditional finance with blockchain for fund transfers will become core areas of competition. LG CNS has previously participated in the South Korean central bank's “Project Hangang” project, accumulating technology related to CBDC and deposit tokens, and has tested scenarios such as on-chain DVP and cross-distributed ledger settlement.
