According to CoinMeta, Wu said that Oraichain indicates a vulnerability in the cross-chain transfer path of EVM, allowing attackers to mint ORAI without authorization. The network has been suspended since 04:00 on August 9th UTC and cross-chain bridges, cross-chain routing, and public interfaces have been restricted. The team stated that the vulnerable path has been blocked, and they are working with partners and exchanges to restrict the flow of related assets, with plans to destroy the illegally issued ORAI and restore the network after fixing the affected protocol states.
