Elon Musk announces the release plans for Grok versions 4.6 and 4.7, expected to go live next week

According to CoinMeta, Musk announced that Grok 4.6 is expected to go live around August 7th with a parameter scale of 1.5 trillion, focusing on enhancing supervision, fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning. Grok 4.7 will be released in a few weeks with a parameter scale increased to 2.1 trillion. Musk stated that, aside from a slightly slower service speed, Grok 4.7 will surpass token 4.6 in all aspects and will require even less token to complete tasks. The yet-to-be-officially released Grok 4.6 briefly appeared in the cursor model list today, labeled as „cursor grok 4.6 fast“, and is mainly aimed at complex, long-running agent programming tasks.
