According to CoinMeta, the standard Chartered has initiated an overlay of Chainlink, and its price is expected to reach $200 by 2030, which is about 25 times higher than the current price of around $8. Geoff Kendrick, the head of global digital asset research for the standard Chartered, stated that Chainlink could rise to $13 by the end of 2026, and then reach $41, $82, and $133 in the following years. This forecast indicates that Chainlink's performance will surpass the expected returns of the standard Chartered for Bitcoin and Ethereum, which are expected to reach $500,000 and $40,000 respectively by 2030. The standard Chartered predicts that the value of on-chain assets will grow from $340 billion to $4 trillion, while decentralized finance (DeFi) assets will increase by 37 times to reach $2.7 trillion. Chainlink will benefit from this, as its infrastructure provides external data for blockchain applications and supports transfers between different networks.
