According to CoinMeta, the People's Bank of China recently issued the "15th Five-Year Plan for Reform and Development" which proposes to promote the formation of a financial infrastructure system that is reasonably laid out, effectively governed, advanced, reliable, and flexible. The plan emphasizes improving the quality and efficiency of central bank financial services, perfecting financial statistics, payment, treasury, and cash service systems, steadily developing digital RMB, advancing the high-quality development of the credit reporting industry, and strengthening anti-money laundering supervision. At the same time, it aims to strengthen the governance foundation for the central bank's duties and comprehensively advance the construction of a law-based central bank and a digital central bank.
