According to CoinMeta, DouBao has announced today that it will start charging a service fee of 11.4% on recommended hotel bookings, plus an additional 0.6% for payment processing fees, resulting in a total fee of about 12%. According to Sina Technology, this new fee structure will apply to hotel bookings that are directed through the DouBao interface to TikTok and completed as a result. The policy will take effect from August 10th. ByteDance has not yet responded to this announcement.
