According to CoinMeta, the CLARITY bill has entered a “zombie state” due to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) preparation of crypto regulations. The Senate will conduct a procedural vote on the CLARITY bill on September 15th, after missing the voting window in August. Bitwise stated that the delay has put the bill in a “zombie state.” U.S. Senator Jim Risch ( R-ID ) issued a statement regarding this.
