According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, during the law enforcement operations in Washington DC, federal prosecutors dismissed or downgraded many cases of serious crimes, with only a few resulting in convictions. Bloomberg's legal editor, Casey Alexander, stated in a program this weekend that these cases have raised questions about prosecutorial pressure and legal authority. Currently, around 4,600 National Guard soldiers are still stationed in the capital until January 2029.
