According to CoinMeta, on August 9th, Strategy posted a two-character message on social media that read “doing ₿ usiness”, which sparked speculation about the individual's Bitcoin activities in the market. The company's public Bitcoin ledger shows that it still holds 842,138 BTC, with no confirmed additional disposals. Last week, Strategy confirmed the sale of Bitcoin worth $104.73 million and transferred 1,030 BTC two days later. Nevertheless, this transfer is still considered to be an on-chain transaction, and it has not been confirmed whether it was a sale. A SEC document from August 3rd by Strategy indicates that the company sold 1,638 BTC between July 27th and August 2nd at an average price of $63,957 each. The company also obtained $290.6 million by selling 3.01 million shares of MSTR stock. Strategy currently has various methods to raise or reallocate funds, so the ambiguous information from Saylor does not necessarily imply that the company has bought or sold Bitcoin.
