According to CoinMeta, as of August 7th, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a net inflow of $8.5354 million in the past week, which is the largest weekly total since mid-April. Among them, Blackstone's ETF contributed $6.93 million. This surge in inflows indicates that institutional investors may be re-entering the market after the heavy selling earlier this year. The price of Bitcoin remained around $64,000 at the beginning of this week and is currently trading at around $65,100. The unexpectedly weak U.S. employment report for July on Friday reduced expectations for further interest rate hikes by the Federal Reserve, which may have cleared the way for continued purchases by institutions in ETFs. Although the recent surge in inflows represents just one week's data, as of now, there has still been a net outflow of about $4.5 billion for ETFs so far this year.
