Brazil implements 24-hour transfer freezes against crypto fraud

According to CoinMeta, the Brazilian government announced that starting from January 1, 2027, new regulations will be implemented. For crypto fraud activities, all transfers exceeding $10,000 will be temporarily frozen for 24 hours. These regulations apply to transactions sent to overseas service providers or to self-hosted wallets, as well as other transfers that are marked for review.
