According to CoinMeta, as reported by news.bitcoin, the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) plans to conduct on-site inspections and desk reviews of authorized crypto asset service providers (CASP) from the second half of 2026 to the first half of 2027. The review will focus on governance frameworks, key and storage management, security protocols, transaction controls, smart contract security, and third-party risk management.
