According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, under the leadership of CEO Greg Abel, Berkshire Hathaway has begun to increase its spending, repurchasing approximately $4.5 billion in shares, while also investing several billion dollars in other areas. Matthew Palazola, an analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence and a senior equity analyst for property and casualty insurance, stated this weekend on a Bloomberg program that Abel is now more focused on operations and is putting Berkshire's substantial cash reserves to use, marking an early shift from Warren Buffett's leadership style in recent years.
