Michael Saylor: Utilizing AI to design financing tools and sell $15 billion
2026-08-08 18:00:41
According to CoinMeta, Strategy founder Michael Saylor stated in an interview on the The Diary of CEO channel on August 6 that he used a financing tool designed by AI to sell approximately $15 billion in total. Saylor explained that as of early 2025, Strategy held about $30 billion in Bitcoin, but the financing capacity of the convertible bonds had approached its limit and could not be expanded further. Therefore, the company designed convertible preferred stocks STRK backed by Bitcoin. After raising $2.5 billion through these shares, they sold another $8 billion by suspending registration, and together with another tool that raised $4 billion, they ultimately sold approximately $15 billion in credit instruments in total.
