Bitcoin infrastructure suffers another attack, Lightning payment server stolen

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Coinspectator, another Bitcoin infrastructure attack has occurred recently, with attackers successfully gaining access to the payment servers of Lightning. BTCPay has issued a warning to users, urging those running LND to immediately update their systems or take their servers offline in order to prevent attackers from using the stolen credentials to control Lightning wallets and transfer funds.
