Circle Announces Changes in Circulation Over the Past 7 Days: Circulation Decreased by 100 Million Coins

According to CoinMeta, based on early data from in, Circle reported the changes in USDC circulation over a 7-day period ending August 6th. Approximately 6.3 billion USDC were issued, and about 6.4 billion USDC were redeemed, resulting in a decrease of around 100 million coins in circulation. Currently, the total circulation of USDC is 71.8 billion coins, with a reserve amount of about 72 billion US dollars. This includes approximately 51.8 billion US dollars in overnight reverse treasury bond repurchases, about 9 billion US dollars in treasury bonds with a maturity of less than 3 months, about 10 billion US dollars in deposits from systemically important institutions, and about 1.2 billion US dollars in deposits from other banks.
