American sources cited information from two "close associates" of former Ukrainian Defense Minister Anatoliy Fedorov, stating that Fedorov had previously been pushing for the use of Starlink to strike targets in Russia and had attempted to contact Musk through private channels, but was rejected. "As of now, (Musk) has not made a decision to agree," the sources said.
