Switch Secretly Submits Application to the US IPO; Valuation Approaches $50 Billion

According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, the data center company Switch Inc has secretly submitted an application to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), planning to go public as early as November this year. Switch is collaborating with Bank of America, Citibank, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Morgan Stanley to seek a valuation of nearly $50 billion. Ben Horowitz, co-founder of Andreessen Horowitz, will join the board of directors of Switch. Headquartered in Las Vegas, the company is owned by Digital Bridge Holdings.
