NVIDIA Plans to Invest $3 Billion in Lancium to Layout Power Supply for AI Data Centers

According to CoinMeta, as reported by The Information, NVIDIA also intends to invest $2 billion in power infrastructure developer Lancium and has pledged to add another $1 billion later on, bringing the total transaction size to $3 billion. Lancium is a power infrastructure provider for the artificial intelligence park Stargate located in Texas, which is jointly owned by OpenAI and Oracle. With this $2 billion investment, NVIDIA will acquire approximately 20% of the equity in Lancium; the transaction is valued at around $10 billion for the enterprise Lancium.
