According to CoinMeta, the BTCPay server issued an emergency signal, reminding users to update to version 2.4.2 in order to fix a critical vulnerability that is being actively exploited by attackers. The BTCPay server reported that the Bitcoin Red Team discovered and disclosed this vulnerability, advising users to shut down their services before the fix is implemented to avoid financial losses.
