CFTC: Speculators reduce net short positions in U.S. Treasury futures

According to CoinMeta, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission reported that as of the week ending August 4th, speculators reduced their net short positions in Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) U.S. Treasury futures by 41,225 contracts to 176,272 contracts. Among these, the net short position in 2-year U.S. Treasury futures decreased by 120,346 contracts to 1,004,228 contracts, the net short position in 5-year Treasury futures increased by 179,319 contracts to 1,325,719 contracts, and the net short position in ultra-long-term Treasury futures decreased by 5,723 contracts to 314,985 contracts.
