According to CoinMeta, the US branch of Wintermute has been registered as a brokerage dealer, paving the way for market makers in this crypto market to enter regulated securities trading. The company plans to expand from digital assets ETF and related markets to tokenized stocks once US regulatory authorities permit it. Wintermute is deepening its connections with traditional finance, challenging Jane Street and Citadel.
