AI Large Models Move Towards Time-Partitioned Pricing
2026-08-07 23:36:52
According to CoinMeta, as AI accelerates its integration into various industries, the number of token calls for China's AI large models continues to rise. Data shows that from July 27th to August 2nd, the weekly token calls for China's AI large models reached 28.13 trillion tokens, ranking first in the world for fourteen consecutive weeks. Currently, the demand for tokens is in a period of rapid growth, and during peak times, supply falls short of demand. Faced with this surge in token demand and the periodic shortage of computing power, many large model companies are adjusting their pricing models, shifting from "pay-as-you-go" to "more refined and dynamic pricing." Kimi has launched four subscription packages ranging from 39 to 559 yuan per month, while DeepSeek will increase the prices for its large model open interfaces. It is also expected that they will introduce "peak-valley pricing" in the future, meaning that the price will be double during peak hours from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
