According to CoinMeta, the unlocking of SpaceX ($SPCX) shares triggered a trading boom of nearly $700 million on the Gate platform. Over 911.5 million SpaceX shares became tradable after the lock-up period ended, and despite market concerns that insiders would sell in large quantities, SpaceX shares still rose by 6.14%, closing at around $114.92. According to CryptoQuant data, trading volume on August 4th soared from about $126 million to $332 million, and on August 5th it even exceeded $360 million, with the total trading volume for those two days approaching $700 million. Analysts believe that SPCX may experience three different trends: if insiders start selling in large quantities, it could put pressure on SpaceX shares; the second possibility is a short-term squeeze; if SpaceX shares continue to be strong, it may force bearish traders to close their positions; the third scenario is a consolidation period, during which early investors might slowly distribute their shares over several weeks.
