Chainlink: Hong Kong Launches a New Tokenized Securities Framework
2026-08-07 20:51:04
According to CoinMeta, Chainlink has announced its participation in Hong Kong's new tokenized securities framework, which is aimed at being adopted by institutions that support blockchain infrastructure. This framework was jointly launched by Forms HK, Chainlink, Apex Group, CSPro, and Cyberport and utilizes Chainlink's cross-chain interoperability protocol (CCIP) and automatic compliance engine (ACE) to achieve interoperability and compliance functions. Although this framework should not be described as Hong Kong's choice of Chainlink as the official tokenization infrastructure, it will make use of two main services provided by Chainlink. Forms HK's CEO, Alex Chan, praised this collaboration, stating that the new platform will "establish a connection between new technologies and the infrastructure required for regulated market operations." Initially, this framework uses the ERC-3643 token standard to ensure compliance.
