Kraken Addresses Legal Gaps in Tokenized Equity, Granting Voters Rights to Holders
2026-08-07 18:18:08
According to CoinMeta, Kraken recently provided token holders with voting rights and addressed the biggest legal gap in tokenized equity through a custody structure mandated by New Jersey law. This structure allows Xstocks holders to instruct real shareholders to vote via on-chain mechanisms, filling a governance gap that has been discussed for years in the tokenized equity industry but has never been implemented. Kraken was launched on June 30, 2025.
