According to CoinMeta, Ether Fi has removed all Eigenlayer re-pledge exposures from weeth, making it a regular liquid pledged token. The re-pledge functionality will be transferred to the independent token weeths based on symbiotic. Currently, Ether Fi's remaining re-pledged assets in Eigenlayer account for less than 1%, and it is expected to drop to 0% in the third quarter of 2026. There are also plans to remove the eigenpod withdrawal vouchers for validators in the fourth quarter. The current scale of Ether Fi's lending business is about $3.3 billion, which is lower than the peak of $12.43 billion in August 2025.
