According to CoinMeta, the U.S. Senate will not vote on the Crypto Market Structure Act before its summer recess, but industry leaders still hope to proceed with the voting when the Senate returns to Washington in September. The Senate is scheduled to return on September 14, 2026, and will address this bill and other outstanding matters over the following three weeks. The Senate will also vote on a continuing resolution to fund the federal government until the midterms.
