According to CoinMeta, Circle announced on August 5th that it had renewed its USDC agreement with Coinbase, maintaining the existing terms to ensure that stablecoins continue to play a central role in products on US exchanges. This renewal extends the agreement until 2029. Circle, the company's Chief Financial Officer, stated that there are no plans to introduce quarterly dividends, and management intends to use the capital for products, infrastructure, and other strategic opportunities rather than distributing regular dividends to shareholders. Circle also mentioned that economic incentives have been established with over 150 partners to integrate, distribute, and support USDC.
