Uniswap V4 Upgrade Drives Monthly Fees Close to 100 Million US Dollars
2026-08-06 12:34:50
According to CoinMeta, based on DefiLlama data, Uniswap generated approximately $99.06 million in fees over the past 30 days, approaching a monthly fee of $100 million, thereby consolidating its leading position among decentralized exchanges. This upgrade introduced a new revenue model, with some of the protocol fees to be used for purchasing and burning UNI tokens, thereby reducing the circulating supply. From July 29th to 31st, the price of UNI rose by nearly 19%, from about $3.83 to $4.54, before slightly falling back to $4.09. Blockchain data shows that despite the price drop, network activity remained active, indicating a continuous increase in user participation.
