According to CoinMeta, Wu said that cashu, the founder of Calle and an open-source Bitcoin developer, stated that 16 researchers from the Bitcoin Red Team are conducting security audits on Bitcoin-related code repositories. Within 27.5 hours, they submitted 4,962 security findings to 390 projects, including 85 serious issues and 635 high-risk issues. Currently, the audit work is still mainly completed manually with the assistance of AI. Some of the increased data comes from the supplementation of previously accumulated audit results. Most of the serious issues were verified in the local regtest environment before submission and were quickly confirmed by the project parties.
