According to CoinMeta, Brian Moynihan, CEO of Bank of America, stated in an interview with CNBC that he expects the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates three times before the end of 2026, in September, November, and December respectively. He believes that these three rate hikes will be sufficient to control inflation, but if inflation data continues to fall below expectations, policymakers may adjust this forecast. Moynihan also mentioned that despite the rate hikes, the investment cycle in artificial intelligence infrastructure will remain strong, and he expects inflation to stabilize around a median of 2% by the end of 2027.
