According to CoinMeta, Amazon announced that it will share $600 million in Trump-era tariff refunds with some customers. In February 2026, the Supreme Court ruled that the government was obligated to pay companies $166 billion in tariff refunds. Amazon's Chief Financial Officer, Brian Olsavsky, stated during a financial report conference call that the company had received $600 million in tariff refunds and planned to return a portion of that money to a small number of customers who incurred additional import costs due to the tariffs. Although Amazon's refund amount is relatively modest, it is one of the few companies to announce direct refunds to customers affected by the tariffs.
