He will also become the Chief Scientist at Google's parent company, Alphabet, continuing to oversee the long-term research directions of AI. At the same time, he will still lead the new drug development company, Isomorphic Labs. This adjustment does not mean leaving Google; rather, he is handing over daily management to a new team to focus on strategic and scientific research work at the group level, which is related to AI. During this period, several other senior executives from Google, known as AI, will also leave to start their own businesses, and Google plans to invest in their new companies.
