According to CoinMeta, the credit risk of Oracle has soared to record highs, even exceeding the peak of the global financial crisis in 2008. According to the latest data, the 5-year CDS yield spread of Oracle has risen to about 215 basis points, due to its planned $70 billion AI data center expansion and its credit rating being downgraded to BBB. In addition, the probability of default for such super-large cloud service providers is about 80% higher than that of companies with average investment grades, raising concerns that Oracle's aggressive AI expenditures will exceed cash flows and push debt risks to record highs.
