According to CoinMeta, the United States and the United Kingdom reiterated their cooperation in digital asset regulation at the 13th Financial Regulatory Working Group meeting held on July 8, focusing on the implementation of the genius legislation, the regulatory framework for stablecoins, and the modernization of cross-border payments. In a joint statement on August 4, both parties stated that they would coordinate stablecoin policies with tokenization strategies to provide regulatory support for digital asset innovation. The Bank of England is re-evaluating the reserve requirements for stablecoins and considering relaxing the 40% interest-free deposit limit in order to respond to the regulatory advancements made by the United States in the field of US dollar stablecoins.
