According to CoinMeta, BNY Mellon announced a partnership with Galaxy Digital to add crypto staking services to its digital asset custody platform. According to a press release issued by Galaxy on Tuesday, Galaxy will act as a design partner to further improve the infrastructure of BNY Mellon's digital asset platform. Eligible institutional clients will be able to access staking services within BNY's broader service model, which includes capabilities such as custody, fund accounting, tax reporting, payment, and customer reporting. At the same time, it maintains the operational guarantees, supervision, and asset protection provided by BNY's custody model. In addition, both parties will integrate digital asset custody and staking services into a unified institutional-level product.
