According to CoinMeta, Tesla's wholesale electric vehicle sales in China in July 2026 reached 93,579 units, a year-on-year increase of 37.85%, marking nine consecutive months of year-on-year growth. This figure represents Tesla's highest monthly sales record in history for July. As of the end of July, Tesla's total wholesale sales in China had reached 561,528 units, an increase of 29.88% compared to the same period in 2025. This year, exports have become the main driver of growth, with exports from Shanghai reaching 128,394 units in the second quarter, surpassing domestic deliveries of 126,157 units for the first time. Despite a decline in domestic demand, China's delivery volume in the second quarter decreased by 2.05% year-on-year, and Tesla's market share in global sales dropped to 26.28%. In terms of model sales, Model had sales of 66,442 units, a year-on-year decrease of 27.72%, while Model Y had sales of 172,513 units. BYD's wholesale sales of new energy vehicles in July were 419,211 units, a year-on-year increase of 21.76%.
