According to CoinMeta, Point Three Management Company released its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, stating that Flex ( NASDAQ : FLEX ) is undergoing the independent listing of its CPI business, and it is believed that the market has underestimated the quality and growth potential of this business. Point Three's flagship offshore fund achieved a return of 7.7% in the second quarter of 2026, outperforming hedge fund indices but lagging behind broader stock benchmarks. The returns in the second quarter were driven by strong performances in industries such as semiconductors, memory, semiconductor equipment, power infrastructure, and aerospace, with a net exposure of 45%. The short-term portfolio had a return of -5.1% during this quarter, but managed to generate significant alpha during the 15.2% rebound of the S&P 500 index. Despite a sell-off in AI infrastructure stocks in June, which was unrelated to fundamentals, economic trends, or geopolitics, many stocks still declined despite strong earnings. As of August 3, the closing price of Flex was $6.34 per share, with a market value of $341.62 million, representing a 48.05% increase in stock price over the past 52 weeks.
