According to CoinMeta, based on cryptorank data, the total locked-up value of decentralized finance (DeFi) decreased for six consecutive months before experiencing a 5.3% increase in July compared to the previous month, reaching approximately $73.8 billion. The majority of this growth came from the long-tail blockchain networks, with the “other” blockchain category seeing a significant rise from about $3.46 billion to $7.02 billion, more than doubling. cryptorank attributes this growth to the launch of Robinhood Chain and the rapid development of other smaller blockchains. Ethereum still holds the top position, with a locked-up value of about $40.46 billion.
