Cardano Founder Hoskinson: Hope ADA can return to its peak
2026-08-04 12:28:01
According to CoinMeta, Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, called on the ADA community to unite and strive to restore the network's competitive position. He stated that Cardano is technically stronger than in 2024, despite having lost some ground in the crypto market. Hoskinson emphasized that the strong performance of ADA will benefit developers, investors, and the entire ecosystem. ADA has been struggling since 2026, having fallen by 49.21% since the beginning of the year and dropping to 14th place in the global cryptocurrency market capitalization rankings. Hoskinson expects Cardano to return to the top ten within the year and refuted claims that it is a failed experiment, arguing that critics have overlooked the technical advancements of the network. Cardano recently activated a hard fork of Van Rossem, upgrading to protocol version 11, and laid the foundation for scalability improvements in Ouroboros Leios. At the same time, the first phase of the RealFi testnet was launched, aiming to connect blockchain liquidity with the real-world lending market.
