If the stock price of AMD reaches $600 to $700, the GPU capital costs of Meta and OpenAI could drop to zero.

According to CoinMeta, Semianalysis stated that AMD reached an agreement with Meta and OpenAI to provide them with performance-linked warrants. The ownership of these warrants depends on the procurement progress of 6GW AMD Instinct GPU and the stock price threshold of AMD. The stock price of AMD has risen from around $200 at the beginning of 2026 to the current range of $500 to $600. If the 6GW capacity is fully deployed, the capital cost per GPU hour for Meta and OpenAI will decrease from approximately $2.15 and $2.50 to around $1.60 and $1.75, respectively. If the stock price of AMD rises to $600 to $700, the capital cost for both companies could potentially drop to zero. Furthermore, if the stock price of AMD rises above $1000, the overall capital cost for the cluster could theoretically also approach zero.
